Boardgames : Home
Welcome to the Boardgames area of my website. This area includes the material that used to be in
the Wargames area, which was a bit too narrowly defined to contain the additional material for other
games.
Military Symbols Font
To see and use many of the features in this site, you will need the dingbat font “7Ace MilSyms”,
which provides the military unit symbols for the game counters.
You can install it permanently by moving it to your C:\WINDOWS\fonts directory, or
temporarily by double-clicking and minimizing it.
You can see how these symbols are used in chapter 4 of
FM 101-5-1: Operational Terms and Graphics, by the Department of the Army and the United
States Marine Corps.
