“Stelkomerco”

A Game to Print Out and Play

This site uses a dingbat font named “Webdings”; if you don’t have it on your computer, you can download it from the Web.

There are two fonts that you will need to print the money, which you can download here, if you don’t already have them:  Cooper Black, and Currency.

This game can be thought of as a variant of the many “railroad” games already in existance, but it’s played on a map of imaginary planets strewn about the galaxy, and the players are assumed to be moving about in space transports.  The most notable feature of the game is that the board, cards, and money are all labeled in Esperanto, though the cards all have English translations of the text so that the game can be played by English-speakers, and no knowledge of Esperanto is required.  Rules are supplied in both languages.

I have tried to ensure that the parts can be printed out on either of the two most popular sizes of printing paper:  A4, and letter.

Besides the printed parts, you’ll need one six-sided die, and you may want to use your own playing pieces and markers instead of my cardboard ones.

Game Parts to Print Out:

  1. The guide to assembly.
  2. The board — in four parts (on card stock, if possible).
  3. The money.
  4. The playing pieces and markers (on card stock, if possible).
  5. The rules.
  6. The movement cards — sheets 1 to 6, plus back (on card stock, if possible).
  7. The contract cards — sheets 1 to 8, plus back (on card stock, if possible).
