Note:  This is one explanation of the pair of words, and allows the noun that follows to be in the accusative if it is logically the object of the verb.  It can also be considered as an adverb plus a preposition, so that the noun that follows must be in the nominative:
Ni havas tro da monon. = We have too much money.
Ni havas tro da mono. = We have too much money.
Both of these mean the same thing, and both are considered proper Esperanto.
